Abstract Background Ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC) is a special pathological type of epithelial ovarian (EOC). We conducted this research to investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes OCCC provide additional supporting evidence aid in diagnosis management. Methods This was retrospective study investigating survival 86 patients with treated at our center between January 2010 March 2020. Survival analysis also performed on 179 obtained from Surveillance, Epidemiology End Results (SEER) cancer registry database. The median age participants 49.21 ± 9.91 years old, 74.42% them were diagnosed early stage. CA125 level 601.48 IU/mL, while 19.77% had normal levels. Sixteen (18.60%) co-existing endometriosis 8 (9.3%) developed venous thromboembolism (VTE). There 5 received suboptimal cytoreduction. Sixty-six (76.74%) underwent lymphadenectomy, only 3 (4.55%) positive lymph nodes. Patients an stage higher 3-year overall (OS) progression-free (PFS) rates than those advanced OCCC. CA19–9 ( P = 0.025) ascites 0.001) significantly associated OS, HE4 0.027) PFS. Analysis data SEER database showed that nodes independent prognostic factor for OS 0.001). Conclusions often presents young mildly elevated CA125. CA19–9, HE4, massive ascites, node are factors.
